This can quickly take a toll on their mental health, leading to isolation, confusion, and tragically, even suicidal thoughts.

• Every year, 5,000 youth (ages 15-24) succeed in taking their own lives.
• That’s 12 successful suicides every single day—and even one is too many!

Yet, there is hope. The B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y Perspective is a 12-week program designed to guide 6th through 12th graders (ages 12-18) through life’s critical stages with love, support, patience, and understanding. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of respectful, self-loving, educated, compassionate, resilient, and socially conscious youth—young people who recognize their worth and the profound impact they can make on the world.

This 12-week program focuses on nine powerful principles, each forming a letter in the word “BUTTERFLY”:

  • Learning how to exist each day with purpose.
  • Overcoming suicidal thoughts and discovering personal value.

  • Embracing individuality and writing their own life story.
  • Realizing they set the standard for who they are and who they become.

  • Living in the present and freeing themselves from past regrets.
  • Recognizing that the past doesn’t dictate the future.
• Tomorrow
  • Setting goals for what’s ahead without losing sight of today.
  • Learning how to plan and prepare while maintaining a healthy perspective.

  • Cultivating daily consistency.
  • Learning integrity: staying true to oneself, even when no one is watching.

  • Reflect on the past to grow from it.
  • Practicing forgiveness, understanding the power of forward movement.

  • Prioritizing self-care.
  • Understanding that other people’s opinions do not determine their value.

  • Developing unconditional devotion to self-love and self-respect.
